With a focus on education, disadvantaged youth, medical research and health support services, as well as art and culture, we strive to create a better future for all.
At the core of our structure lies the Private Ancillary Fund (PAF), which enables us to effectively allocate resources and ensure maximum impact. As a PAF, our primary requirement is to provide grants to Deductible Gift Recipient Item 1 charities and government entities with a charitable purpose. By adhering to this guideline, we guarantee that our grants are directed to causes that truly make a difference.
We understand the significance of community grants and their ability to strengthen the very fabric of our society. That’s why we actively seek requests that increase access to opportunities and support organisations working within our focus areas. From local charities to non-profit organisations and social enterprises, we are dedicated to empowering those who share our vision.
With an annual budget, we distribute funds through various avenues to ensure comprehensive support for our beneficiaries. Our Annual Grants contribute to key infrastructure and cover day-to-day operational costs, providing stability and sustainability. Additionally, our Programme and Event Grants are designed to assist organisations in running impactful programs and events that align with our mission.
Join us on our journey towards positive change. Together, we can create a brighter future, where education is accessible, disadvantaged youth receive support, medical research advances, and art and culture thrive. Explore our website to learn more about our initiatives, and discover how you can get involved and make a difference. The power of collaboration awaits at the CFC Foundation!
The Foundation understands the significance of its community grants, which supports the fabric of our community.
The Foundation is responsive to requests that contribute to increasing access to opportunities and is dedicated to supporting charities, non-profit organisations, and social enterprises that work within the four primary focus areas.
The Foundation strives to provide much-needed funds to offer powerful learning opportunities that aim to reduce the opportunity gap for those who are most disadvantaged by it.
It will allow these organisations to continue working on researching and implementing best practice pedagogies and providing financial, educational, and emotional assistance to enable students to perform at their best and decrease the gap in learning due to social and economic disadvantages.
There are several foundations and charities in the not-for-profit sector which provide assistance towards medical research and health services in Australia. Many of them have a specific focus such as cancer, diabetes and arthritis. Others are heavily focused on medical research, providing information and raising awareness on specific health conditions. Some charities also fund support for specific patients undergoing treatment.
The Foundation will work with these institutions and support their cause by extending grants and assistance for specific schemes and programs.
Knowledge, education and physical wellbeing are all factors impacting the full and effective participation of youth in social, economic and political development. Increased attention to improving participation rates of young people, particularly marginalised youth, is needed to ensure that they acquire the knowledge, capacities, skills and ethical values needed to fulfil their role as agents of development, good governance, social inclusion, tolerance and peace.
The Foundation will work with organisations who support disadvantaged youths in attaining general and technical skills, physical fitness, and assist them in their personal development to contribute to their local communities.
Art and culture have a huge impact on society and bring diverse communities together. Throughout human existence, art has been an imperative tool in measuring cultural development and recording history. It is one of the most dynamic methods and norms that can make human behaviour change. It can increase empathy, trigger reflection, increase dialogue and help generate new ideas and relationships that can enhance expression of ideas and positive values. Arts help humanity build new possibilities and rehearse a different way of living and connecting.
The Foundation will seek to support charities which encourage participation, education and appreciation of numerous artistic and cultural disciplines including painting, sculpture, writing, photography, puppetry, film, theatre, opera, dance, and music.
