Philip Cardaci

CFC GROUP, EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN Group EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Philip is responsible for driving strategic direction and managing the new investment pipeline. He is also MD of the Group property division.

Joining the Group in 1990 as MD of JCB Construction Equipment Australia, he was instrumental in developing this business from the ground up. Prior to joining the Group, Philip was a Systems Engineer for Fujitsu Australia.

Philip holds a Bachelor of Science from Murdoch University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Michael West

Michael joined the CFC Group in 2018 as the General Manager Family Office and member of the Group’s Advisory Boards. Michael is responsible for the management of the family office with a specific focus on group treasury, legal, risk, investment and acquisitions.

Michael has a background in private equity, investment banking, strategy and finance and draws on his experience working for a number of private and ASX-listed organisations in Perth and Sydney to provide strategic oversight across the group.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours Class I) from Sydney University. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and graduated with a Certificate of Excellence as a member of CPA Australia.

Hamish Williams

CFC GROUP, ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Hamish joined the CFC Group in 2016 as a Non-executive Advisory Board Member and provides strategic advice and support to the CFC Group and its businesses.

Hamish has held a number of senior financial positions locally and internationally including 21 years at Automotive Holdings Group as CFO/Finance Director and Executive Director Strategy and Planning with primary responsibilities around business development, general management and acquisitions. Hamish has extensive experience in a a broad range of industries including retail, transport and logistics and manufacturing as well as commercial experience in both large scale and small to medium sized enterprises.

Hamish is a Chartered Accountant and is a graduate of the Institute of Company Directors.

Paul Sadleir

CFC GROUP, ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Paul has over 30 years corporate, commercial and technical experience in ASX listed, government, private and not for profit organisations.

He has experience in the property, construction, infrastructure, airports, investment and funds management, education and aged care sectors gained through senior executive roles at Cedar Woods Properties, Wesfarmers, Bunnings Property Trust and Western Power.

Paul was the Managing Director of Cedar Woods Properties Limited, an ASX300 company with operations in Western Australia, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.

His current roles include:

  • Non-executive director, Perron Group Limited, chair of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee (appointed November 2017)
  • Non-executive director, Co-operative Bulk Handling Ltd, chair of its Remuneration and Nomination Committee and a member of its Network and Engineering Committee (appointed November 2020)
  • President of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, WA division (appointed to Council 2014).

Isaac Rankin

CFC GROUP, ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Isaac is a company director and adviser with a background in banking and private equity, including over 30 years’ experience in institutional & commercial banking and private equity in Perth, Melbourne and New York. Most recently Isaac was Managing Director, Commercial and Private Banking for ANZ, responsible for the bank’s 600,000 SME customers, high net worth clients & family offices across Australia, leading a team of 2,600 people across 100+ metropolitan and regional offices. Isaac is also a former member of ANZ Group’s Ethics and Responsible Business Committee and Responsible Manager under ANZ’s AFSL. Isaac was a founding director of the $540m Australian Business Growth Fund, a public-private partnership between the Federal Government and a number of leading banks, providing private equity growth capital to SMEs across Australia.
